Pluto Return and the Coronavirus (Spring 2020)

Published April 4, 2020 by Paradise Kendra

US Chart April 2020 Transits Colored Inner Wheel

Inner Wheel: US Natal Chart
Outer Wheel: Current Transits

The outer wheel’s pink house contains the April 2020 transits, including the Capricorn conjunction of Jupiter, Pluto, Mars, and Saturn, which just bumped over into 00°33′ Aquarius. Transit Pluto at 24°49′ about to roll right over our natal Pluto at 27°33′ could be the cause of the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

Pluto rules hidden things, death, disease, the underworld, plagues, secrets, manipulation, paranoia, conspiracies, etc. Capricorn rules corporations and government structures, so Pluto in Capricorn does involve secrets that these entities keep, and hidden things they do that perhaps get out of hand. Capricorn and Scorpio (Pluto’s ruler) both involve power dynamics.

Two pieces of good news jump out at me. Transit Pluto at 24°49′ has moved past its opposition to the US’s natal Sun in Cancer at 13°19′. This means that Pluto is no longer pulling apart the very foundation of who we are, so this virus is not likely to destroy us in a “kaboom, blow up the whole planet” scenario, but more in a purely Plutarian way; some destruction, some death, and a hit to our second house finances and economy. Transit Pluto at 24°49′ has actually moved past our natal Sun, Jupiter, and Venus in Cancer, which is a great relief. That will end up saving us a lot of misery and loss. Transit Pluto will not hit those planets and therefore not target those places in the US chart. THANK GOD.

The other piece of good news is that transit Jupiter at 24°10 is right behind transit Pluto, acting as a guardian angel. We may not see Jupiter’s protection yet, but he’s there, right on top of Pluto, not missing a beat, shielding us, bringing us benevolence, good luck, and economic opportunities. The amount of generosity in people helping independent businesses, the curbside takeout movement, the extraordinarily generous tips (I’ve seen people in my own town giving thousand dollar tips to help tide servers over), the gift cards, the amazing amount of spending we are doing to help each other right now, that’s Jupiter transiting our second house of wealth and finances.

I see a third positive aspect. Transit Pluto at 24°49′ trines natal Neptune 22°25′. Neptune is in Virgo, and Virgo rules health. Neptune is also is the 9th house, 9th house rules all things foreign, and this health risk came from a foreign place. Hmmm, interesting. Pluto rules death, disease, and destruction, and Capricorn rules corporations and government structures, and it’s in a trine aspect with Neptune in Virgo. This is pretty lucky. Trines are the most harmonious aspect, an aspect of ease. Any time you are dealing with a health concern in particular, you want a trine. If this were the chart of a person, I would tell them they just won the lottery with that trine.

So, I hope that brings you some ease and good vibes for the day. There’s a lot of misinformation out there that we have yet to untangle and clarify, a lot of numbers of active cases that are incorrect and that’s all normal as we try to collect an entire planet’s worth of information that is still changing minute by minute. We will find out that things are a little different than we currently think they are, and we will find out some good news. That does not mean that this is not a serious situation and that there is not a real pandemic, but remember that Pluto, especially a Pluto return will bring fear, paranoia, conspiracy, heightened extremes, and negativity. It is not necessarily all accurate. Let’s wait for Mercury to analyze the information without the paranoia.

In the meantime, hang in there, exhale, and lean on your fifth house. Find the fun in life, whatever that may be to you. For me, I’m enjoying food, films, music, musicals, books, photography, and of course, astrology. ✨✨✨

After 46 years of business, the amazing Jim Maynard is retiring, and sadly we will no longer have our Pocket Astrologer calendars. My Aunt Suzanna who taught me everything I know about astrology introduced me to the Pocket Astrologer calendars. She taught me that you order two every year, and keep one in your purse and one at home. I have been buying these every year since I was 21 years old. It’s the end of an era, and I thank Jim Maynard for such an amazing product and service. Buy your own copy of the 2019 Pocket Astrologer while there’s still time! It doesn’t matter what year you buy, the information in this little books is worth having. Thank you, Jim Maynard.

Send Jim a thank you email at: CelestialCalendars@email.com or call 541-482-5343.

Six Times the Retrograde

Published July 23, 2019 by Paradise Kendra

𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙖 𝙛𝙞𝙭 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙞𝙭?✨

5 planets (and 1 very important comet) have been retrograde and, if you’re anything like me, you’ve been feeling it. I’m super tired and drowsy, I can’t remember half the words in the sentence I’m trying to construct, I’m foggy, unclear, and just generally daffy.

Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn, Neptune, Mercury & Chiron are all in retrograde, plus we are in the middle of a Geomagnetic Solar (Space) Storm & the energies of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on July 16-17th are flooding in!

✨🌜🌞🌛✨

Six planets in retrograde seems like a lot — and it is, but I think we need it now more than ever. In case you’ve missed the headlines, the world has gone a bit mad. All over the world, and in every part of life, insanity is brewing.

How did we get to this place, and how do we collectively get ourselves out of it?

Transiting Saturn 9°16 (planet of the far right) is traveling slowly alongside transiting Pluto 9°21 (planet of destruction and rebirth), and not too far behind them transiting Jupiter 7°15 (planet of the far left) who is gaining speed and will catch up to Saturn in time to violently crash into both transiting Pluto as well as the US’s natal Pluto 9°27, right around the time of the next US Presidential Election.

What does that mean as far as who our next President will be? That depends on what we do during this time of retrograde.

The pressure is very much on because what occurs over the next two years will not just effect the United States, but the entire world as we grow closer to the day of the cataclysmic triple conjunction between the three titans of power, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto.

Will Pluto show mercy on Jupiter, perhaps letting Saturn receive the bulk of the destruction, killing off our structures, our traditions, and the extreme dominators of corrupt powers? Will progressives win the day as a preverbal silver bullet hits the Republican Party next election, slaying the conservative right and bringing them to their knees? Or, will Jupiter take the harshest beating, hitting the farthest left of liberal fanatics, wiping away the preachers who willingly tear down our past, our history, and our traditions to make way for the future they see as our only salvation? Will the expansive truth and justice-seeking planet of Jupiter meet its bloody end when faced with Pluto’s wrath?

Or, and perhaps more likely, will Pluto crush both planets with equal tenacity? And if so, what do we do in the meantime to secure that we have something to rebuild with after Pluto’s destruction?

What’s important to you to rebuild? What’s important to you to protect? What do you want to save and rebuild with after Pluto has moved on? The destruction will happen, one way or the other, so don’t bother trying to prevent it or speed up election results by throwing fundraisers a little early. This is not the destruction of an election. This is not about a single presidential election. This Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto conjunction could very well be the complete death of the Republican and Democratic parties. It could also be the death of what we define as Democrat or Republican, conservative and liberal. And maybe, just maybe we need to let that death happen, so we may be reborn.

Our systems and structures are not serving us in their current incarnation, so Pluto may actually be a savior dressed in Grim Reaper’s clothing, killing off the extremism that is hurting us so badly.

After which, we might all exhale, breathe in some common ground, and remember that differences of opinion do not make us traitors.

Again, that’s up to us. ✨🌜🌞🌛✨

Chiron’s retrograde (until December 12th) opens up a window for us to heal our most painful wounds. With 5 planets + 1 comet in retrograde, we are able to this more quietly and internally, allowing introspection and examination. We have the strength right now to heal and release even the deepest of wounds. Let’s use this Chiron transit to look at our past pain, acknowledge it, and finally let it go. Let’s not wait for the next Chiron transit before putting these old hurts to rest.

These wounds of the past are finally ready to set you free. 💖

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall ▶️ Synastry Report

Published January 26, 2019 by Paradise Kendra

In February of 2018, Kim Cattrall sent a clear statement to Sarah Jessica Parker and the world, “We were never friends.”

After Kim Cattrall’s brother was found dead at the young age of 55, Sarah Jessica Parker shared her support for Kim on social media, as well as telling Extra, “We all send her our love and condolences and grant her the privacy that she’s asked for.” Although Kim did thank her fans, friends, and “Sex and the City” colleagues for their outpouring of support, she responded to Parker via Instagram saying, “I don’t need your love and support at this tragic time.

Kim Cattrall also very eloquently discussed her relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker and her disappointments with her SATC female costars on Adamus Witcombe.

What interested me was Sarah Jessica Parker’s very shocked response to Kim’s statement about their relationship.  She was clearly taken off guard, shocked, and did not have a clear response as her mind was still processing what Kim had said.

Many fans of Sex and the City have chosen a side between the two ladies, but I have decided to take a look at Sarah and Kim’s astrology charts to see if I could gain better insight into the disconnect between them.

One of the first aspects between them that caught by eye was Kim’s Mercury Opposition Sarah’s Chiron.

Kim’s Mercury Opposition Sarah’s Chiron
Kim and Sarah have difficulty communicating in a manner that is rewarding. Instead they seem to hurt each other’s feelings through saying the wrong thing. In particular Sarah seems to upset Kim. The problem is that old hurtful memories surface in this relationship. Kim and Sarah have subconsciously attracted each other in order to learn valuable life lessons, but the journey is not smooth. Kim is particularly sensitive to the words used by Sarah, and has difficulty listening with emotional calm. Kim may accuse Sarah of being insensitive and uncaring; however, Sarah feels wrongfully accused. She genuinely struggles to find a better way of communicating what she means. These misunderstandings could lead to a breakdown in the relationship, or they could finally result in a better understanding of themselves and each other. Either way compassion is a key ingredient to successfully overcoming past hurts and developing loving communication.

Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker do have a plethora of harmonious aspects including:

Kim’s Sun Trine Sarah’s Mercury
Kim’s Mercury Trine Sarah’s Jupiter
Kim’s Mercury Trine Sarah’s Ascendant
Kim’s Venus Sextile Sarah’s Mars
Kim’s Venus Trine Sarah’s Saturn
Kim’s Venus Sextile Sarah’s Uranus
Kim’s Venus Trine Sarah’s Neptune
Kim’s Venus Sextile Sarah’s Pluto
Kim’s Venus Trine Sarah’s Chiron
Kim’s Mars Sextile Sarah’s Jupiter
Kim’s Mars Trine Sarah’s Neptune
Kim’s Jupiter Trine Sarah’s Moon
Kim’s Saturn Trine Sarah’s Venus
Kim’s Uranus Trine Sarah’s Sun
Kim’s Uranus Trine Sarah’s Venus
Kim’s Chiron Sextile Sarah’s Sun
Kim’s North Node Trine Sarah’s Sun
Kim’s North Node Trine Sarah’s Venus

People dream of having aspects like this with their friends, lovers, family, and coworkers.  This is an impressive list of beautiful aspects between these two women, several of them including Venus.  Venus rules love (and your relationships with women).  If you have positive aspects that include Venus, the relationship has a greater chance of success due to love, even through the rough patches.  Prince Charles and Princess Diana, for example, had far more harmonious aspects that negative aspects in their charts, yet none of them included Venus.  Had they not gotten married so quickly and so publicly, they probably would’ve formed a long lasting friendship and bond that would have lasted them throughout the years.  But due to no harmonious aspects with Venus, there was not enough affection between Charles and Diana for their marriage to survive.

The list of harmonious aspects between Kim and Sarah’s charts, however, leads me to believe that something must have happened towards the end of their working SATC relationship that left them with hurt feelings and misunderstandings.  And unfortunately, since they no longer work together or see each other on a regular basis, the opportunity for them to mend these wounds and clear up misunderstandings isn’t as likely as if would be if they still saw on each other on a regular basis.  The misunderstandings have had the opportunity to manifest and take on a life of their own.

But I don’t believe from this list of positive aspects that they did not genuinely adore each other and have a wonderful time through the Sex and the City years.  (So rest assured, Carrie and Samantha fans, the bond you saw on screen was not just acting!)

It’s too grand a list to deny a genuine enjoyment and love of each other’s company – some of the time at the very least.

That being said, Kim Cattrall is a Leo and Sarah is an Aries.  These two fierce fire signs both desire and demand center stage.  Leo and Aries have genuine admiration and respect for each other.  These signs have an unabashed “me first” orientation, both wanting to see how brightly they can shine and how far they can propel their dynamic energies.  Both signs can be impatient and proud, and there’s always competition between them to be number one.  Leo energy needs applause, warmth, and adoration – services which fast paced Aries may not always provide.  Aries is keen on doing whatever it desires, without restriction, whether this meets with another’s approval or not.

Leo is more careful about the manner in which it lets its hair down.  Leo seeks an appreciative audience and cares about the approval of others.  Aries is more bluntly a “what you see is what you can” sign, not one to cater to popular demands.  Leo needs to remember not to be resentful if Aries neglects to show them proper respect.  It is more than likely due to Aries not slowing down long enough to recognize what Leo needs rather than a true lack of respect.  Aries, on the other hand, needs to be more sensitive to Leo’s need for appreciation and its dignified nature.  Aries’s impulsive actions may prove an embarrassment to Leo, for Aries is not as noble or high-minded.  On the positive side, Aries gives Leo the assertiveness to charge ahead and take chances, while Leo can help teach Aries to stabilize and follow things through.

At their best, these two are honorable in intention and forthright in action.  They won’t plot or scheme to get what they want, but will instead bravely do battle in an upfront matter.  Sneak attacks or underhandedness is not their game.

It is no surprise that Kim Cattrall feels undervalued by the perceived lack of appreciation from Sarah, as well as Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.  Leo rules the heart and this radiant fire sign needs to shine in the presence of others.  Highly assertive, single-minded Aries does not need nor seek out the assistance of others and therefore can easily miss the supportive spotlight a Leo shines on them.  Exclusion, whether intentional or unintentional deeply wounds the Leo and she will not hesitant to announce her displeasure in front of a live audience.
